If you have a WordPress Woocommerce e-commerce website you may want to promote your products on google Shopping and advertise your products on Gooogle using your Google Adwords account. So what we have done is create a WordPress plugin that will automatically generate and update an XML page on your website that you can use as your product feed for your Google Merchant account.
How to advertise your Woocommerce products on Google Shopping
In order to advertise the products from you Woocommerce WordPress website you will need to sign up to two Google services, you will need a Google Merchant and a Google Adwords account. The google merchant account is where you will manage your products indexed by Google as Products. Basically when you open a Google merchant account you need to visit the Data Feed tab and here you can add the link to your XML page with all your products listed on. You can schedule the time and frequency at which Google reloads your XML data feed. It is this XML data feed that our WordPress plugin will create.
Once you have set up and scheduled the XML data feed you need to create a Google Adwords campaign, the campaign has to be of type “Shopping”, this campaign type is specifically designed for promoting your products as products on Google searches.
If you don’t create a Google Adwords Shopping campaign your products will not appear on Google Shopping or on search pages.
